Well we at least know that all the dems that continued to vote him into office from 1983 to 1996 when he retired were don't we. How anyone could support him after he admitted he had slept with an underage congressional page is beyond me,at least Foley had the decency to resign in disgrace. And Studds was so arrogant that he actually had the gall to turn his back while his censure was read to him, what a true scumbag.

Gerry Studds left Congress almost ten years ago. I imagine very few Democrats think much about him these days, with pride or otherwise.

Very good question. There is a very noticeable double standard among the liberal elite. I posed this same question yesterday under another section of this site. In addition to Studds I also reminded people of the Wilbur Mills fiasco
Libs can dish it out but they sure can't take it.

All. Why did they not treat Mr Foley like they treated Studds?

Stop living in the past. Studds apologized, Clinton had a special 'I have sinned' Speech, and Bush still won't apologize for leading us into HIS war.

1983 -- you had to go back to 1983 to find something. Talk about grasping at straws.
