women and wrong numbers?

Question

why do women give out wrong numbers to guys...it seems like they are interested, but they still give out wrong numbers..i think its better not to give the number at all, let alone talk to them at all....if a lady seems interested, then gives out the wrong number at the very beginning, is it most likely because they are just not interested or dont like the way someone looks? is this a trick or they are liars or just insecure? this does not make sense....thanks for your answers

Its not that they don't want to hurt your feelings; they don't care about doing that. Women give you the wrong number to avoid any negative emotions being directed toward them. Most likely if this occurs they have no interest in you, and don't want to have a confrontation by refusing to give their number outright.

Hi Daniel,
Some woman are just players! Giving out the wrong number can mean alot- married, don't like how you LQQK, not interested, liars and just plain ignorant on there part. And if you ever saw the same woman again wouldn't you ask them why? Or want some explaination? I hope this helps U have a good day! :0)

If a woman provides you with a wrong number, she is obviously either a) insecure and doesn't think you will call her -or- b) she is playing mind games.
Honestly, if I was interested in a man, I would provide the correct information for you to contact me. And if I received a wrong number, I would simply forget him and move on because he is not worth the time or trouble.

first impressions say a lot and if you come on too strong and maybe tell STORIES of how great you are etc, they are not at all stupid as some guys like to think, and you are automatically on the # for ET to phone home, because she will not be on the line when you call it. Try to be yourself, whether it is stammering for words or a bit shy, or lost for words at first, be yourself, and they see that and respect that..Not every woman loves the MACHO Mr know all and do all type, who usually are just a bag of wind anyway to start with, and they will see through this facade.If you are you and they see you are honest and caring, you will have the right number to call her, and if you are really nice and honest they will ask for yours too.

Because we are not interested and don't want to hurt your feelings. It WOULD be better and kinder to say just - no. Bit of a fear factor is thrown in there too. Best Idea ?!!? Give her your number and ask her to call if she would like to. Tell her you would really like to hear from her - like, maybe next week?

That's a lame thing to do. But it may be that they are not able to think quickly enough on their feet to know how to say no when you ask for a number. If they are offering it to you, then I would guess that they have low self-esteem and it's a way to get attention from guys.

People are crazy now adays so it is better to give out a wrong number then to just say no...i guys i am crazy and i talk to myself that works best for me!

it's ot a trick they are NOT interested but sometimes
feel very pressure,so they don't no how to end a
conversation without hurting someone feeling

or sometimes the guy does'nt take ...NO... for a answer..

they give out the wrong numbers because if they tell you no, you keep asking why not and thats what they what to aviod. its easier for them to give you a fake number to avoid feeling bad for not wanting to give you the right one.
