I paid $1,100 for a used manual tranny for a 95 Honda Civic hatchback.
I've seen over $3,000 for remanufactured Ford automatic transmissions.

Ammco is the best place to go for transmissions. Its all they do so they do good work and usually they sell rebuilt transmissions pretty cheap.

i own a repair shop, and it all depends on what its for ,i have seen them as low as 300 ,and go all the way up to 2500 real easy,it just depends on what its going in,and how complicated it is,i have seem some really expensive ones though and the price just keeps going if your going used on it you can find them pretty reasonable sometimes, good luck i hope this help,s.

For what? What type? It can go from about $50.00 used manual for an old pick-up to $4000.00 for automatic for a nice car, or as much as $12,000.00 for a new Road Ranger for a big rig.
Some specifics, please.
