Yes. It is fully recognized as are marriages of discordant couples; however it is only valid for residents of Massachusetts and the marriage is not recognized outside of the state.
Additionally, many churches not only recognize same-sex marriages, but perform the ceremony as well -- easily allowing the marriages to be "recognized in the eyes of god".

There have been some attempts to overturn this statute, without success. However, a judge has ruled that a couple from Rhode Island can get married in Mass, because there is no law in Rhode Island specifically forbidding marriage between two men or two women.

The only stipulation is it is legal only there and you must be a resident to be married there(same-sex couples only).

Yes it is... and those who say no really are not all that aware of what is going on. There are things going on to try and reverse it... yes. But for now... same sex marraige is "completely" legal there.

It is - but only for residents of Mass; it doesn't transfer to other states, and Mass won't marry gays who are not residents.

It is legal, but of course it consists only of a civil contract. It isn't a marriage in the eyes of God.
