If they wanted one yes. I have heard of straight 'pet shop boys' so I don't think discriminating on those grounds really works. I would make sure that no hamsters were sold to anyone who owned a funnel that looked like it may be used for odd behaviour. Yeah... Home spot checks just to be on the safe side.
