The game or the insect? Yes on both counts, but the game isn't terribly popular. Neither is the insect, for that matter, although it's much more common.

When I lived in Calgary (Alberta, Canada) in the late '80's, there was a park (Shouldice park) that had been left to the city with the stipulation that the only organized game that could be played there was cricket. There were always several games going on when I was there.

Apparently there is. I looked it up when I read your question. The US is an associate member of the International Cricket Council. That probably means more to you than it does to me. To be honest I've tried to watch Cricket but it never captured my interest.

I live in Marin County California (just north of the Golden Gate Bridge) and there is a cricket league in Larkspur.

yes cricket is played but not at that level n is not popular as well...but now ICC is trying to flourish this game in States n China fr which they r planning now a days, infact held some matches at some level in these countires.......but i fear it wont be sucessful .. as they have other games more popular n cricket is wastage of time for them........

Alot of Indians play over here so if you want to go watch all you have to do is look an Indian name in the phone book and I bet they can tell you where to go.

I am ure cricket is played in the US, but it is not as popular as it is in other countries.

In the US, we have baseball.

yes, there r high schools and colleges that play it. icouldn't give u list but i know it is played by some schools here in florida
