Just curious, My friend is around that height and he thinks he is real short!

NO, that is not too short. It really doesnt' matter how tall you are. What matters is how you feel about yourself and how you treat others.

So what? It's his character that counts. I'm 5'5 1/2" and 55. Never had issues concerning my height, other than it created some problems with leverage and reach. Sometimes limited my dating pool until I moved past that and found that taller girls weren't always too shallow to date shorter guys if they liked 'em.

It depends how old you are if you are young and are still in the age limit thirteen to seventeen that is completely OK. However if your friend is eighteen or older it might be time for him to be excersicing and working out more.

I want to let you know that my boyfriend is only 5'5" tall. I have always dated taller men and he is the greatest man I have ever been with. Short guys ROCK.

My husband is siz feet eleven inches tall and I can honestly tell you that it doesn't matter how big you are. What really matters is how you think of yourself. If you think you are short then you are short...if you think you are average then you are. It is much more of a mental thing than a physical thing.

5'6" is short but there are many women who don't mind. Tom Cruise is at most 5'6".

It is shorter than the average adult male. But, it shouldn't matter.....at least in my opinion.
(My husband is shorter than me =). )
