no because the hiker throws it to the quarterback and he throws it to another person. so the answer is no. glad i could help

Yes. Brett Favre's first pass in the NFL was to himself when his pass was deflected and he caught it.

A QB can catch a deflected pass and they'd get credited for the reception.

Micheal Vick once threw a lateral pass that the RB didn't see, running out in the flat, and he picked it up and ran for a gain, but that was registered as a fumble.

If a QB tosses the ball from one hand to the other, or something, then it doesn't register as anything.

yes it has been done but it is usally a deflected pass that quarterback receives himself

Not technically, no. But if the ball is tipped and the QB catches it they can run with it and it counts as a catch.
