They both reproduce and they both take in matter and expel matter. *shrugs* That's all I can remember from Biology but thats a start. There's seven similarities in common though.

They both reproduce and expel matters they also kill.They can make you sick,there are good cells and there are bad ones and then theres bacteria that can be good and kill cells and then theres bacteria that can hurt and lead to infections that can kill you.

They are made of the same classes of main biologically important molecules: polysaccharides, proteins and nucleic acids and may produce progeny using a genetic code - common in all organims
(although there may be some minor variations). In addition, many biochemical pathways (i.e. biochemical reactions required for living) are common in all living cells.

all bacteria are cells, but not all cells are bacteria.
so that means they all perform the functions of a living organism, reproducing, and eating, and all of that good stuff.

they both can reproduce pretty fats well..and they are sumtimes hard to see without a telescope
