I'd change the minds of the idiots who vote. We need a small government, pro civil liberties government elected. Neither party gives a damn about civil liberties, and anyone who thinks they do is a fool. Same goes for fiscal responsibility.

I've had enough with the "moral values" crowd, but not as much as I'm fed up with the pro gun control lunatics, the drug warriors, the big government knows best (i.e. universal health care) proponents. I'm fed up with the forced diversity, the class warfare, all of it.

We need a fair, flat tax. We need a plan to end the drug war. We need to ease gun control laws. We need fiscal responsibility. We need an end to racist policies such as affirmative action, which along with the black market created by drugs and other societal problems, continue to foster a victim's mentality among black people. We need the government to follow the 10th amendment a little more. We need investment in transportation and energy infrastructure.

Most of all: We need to ease ourselves off Social Security, phasing the program into a private plan. Something needs to be done about medicare. These have the potential to bankrupt America more than anything else.

Views- the country's going in the wrong direction, especially in foreign policy. We've made the situation worse no matter what we've done in the last few years.

If I could change something, anything at all, with a magic wand - I would introduce a third or fourth party to the national stage. Major players too, just like the dems and reps. Less partisan finger pointing and more real talk.

I think that America right now is in a very bad postion. My reasons are the Iraq War, Hugo Chavez trashes Bush and earlier this week he got $3billion in aircraft and weapons from Russia he doesnt like the U.S, Cuba doesnt like us and they had the summit meeting where nobody really knows what was talked about, Osama Bin Laden is still out there God knows where. Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro are good friends. The Islamic Muslim extremist want Americans to die. There is just so much hate towards the U.S. that its unbelievable. Also you have scandals going on in Congress. We have energy crisis with gasonline and other things. I dont know what I would change all of the U.S problems are just too complex and some of it goes back for years.

Five star general and later president, Ike Eisenhower, warned when he left office to beware of the Congress, Defense, Business complex.
We haven't heeded his words. Example: When H. Long still represented Louisiana, he needed to keep people employed. Because of his standing in Congress, he got a Marine mobile Heliopad (much like a carrier). The Marines didn't want it and had no use for it. Business and Congress pushed it through. Not a great deal has changed cf. oil vs. ethanol, etc.

I don't go there much... When I do, it seems like a nice place... I can't think of anything I would change... 97% of the people I are very similar to the ones back home... 3% of the people are jerks... But it's the same way at home... I've chosen to judge America by those 98%, not the 3%...

I wouldn't change a thing. I would however change the media. I would make it law that they print the story and only the story and both side of the story. Those Ba$tards have done more damage to this country and may be repairable, but I will certainly keep trying to.

America is a great country...

Great economy and low unemployment...

To make this a better country it would be a good thing to deport the lib-tards and wetbacks who support the party of the Seditious & Sleazy (a.k.a. Democrat party) since they are the parasites who try to drag this country down... These leftist tools should be deported to a country like Iran to give them a credible reason to whine and cry...

Im no extremist, but I would like to see what would happen if democrats took office. Obviously were not doing no good with the republicans in office I mean take a look at Goerge. Do you know he has made more changes than all of the presidents before him combined?

I would abolish the free trade agreement. Not allow any country to export their goods into this country. They would have to manufacture them here. This is what China does and they flood our market with their stuff. Over 200000 jobs have been lost in Michigan because of this and it's only the beginning. All that money pouring out of this country never to return.

As an American, I view my own nation as lazy, stupid, uninformed, and complacent to the needs of ALL people. I blame it all on our poorly funded and monitered education system.
