It is exactly 10ft high. The same height in all major leagues. In Europe, Asia, Canada, Africa, Australia..USA....etc, etc. It is the standard height.

There is two different rim heights on the court...
For the home team...the first half rim is set at 10'1" and the second half rim is at 9'11"
The reason for this is that at the end of the game when the players are tired, it is easier to shoot at the lower rim than the higher rim. In theory it should make it easier for the home team to score more than the away team in the second half. It is amazing how much a couple of inches can determine if the ball goes in or not, especially when the legs are tired.

The top of the rim should be exactly 10 feet (120 inches) off the ground.
