The doc probly should have given you two, thats what they do here, cuz one sometimes works and sometimes doesnt work.
It will stay in your system for 10 days. Thats what Ive been told. If you arnt prone to yeast infections, then one will probly work.
I have lived with intestinal yeast for 5 yrs now. Ive researched it and have learned so much. Ive been in treatment for 9-10 months now, and Im slowly getting better. I had to change my diet and everything. Its been tough. My sisters and I have just been prone to getting yeast.
You can have sex whenever you want, but there where probly be some discomfort.
I wish you the best of luck....and hope you get to feeling better real soon. Diflucan is a good drug for yeast. Stay away from bread, and sugars. Itll only keep it growing. Nothing with yeast... till you feel better. If you can, eat some yogurt each day.
Youl probly feel better within a week or less.

it will take several days before you notice an effect with diflucan, it takes a little longer than the vaginal preparations. yeast is not an std so you can have sex as long as your vagina doesnt hurt or is inflammed. just to be safe, wait 72 hrs-it should be working by then

I have taken that pill before and I'd say it took about 3 days to feel normal again and about sex I dont know you should play it safe and wait a week if your dr said it will work for a week.
Is'nt is great to only have to take one pill instead of cream for days?

you can be active again anytime you are feeling up to it, but use a condom until your partner gets treated too. if you have yeast, he has been exposed and you could end up passing it back and forth to each other.

No offense but, ask your Dr. - don't be asking questions like that on here - you'll get better answers (and honest answers) from your doctor.
