Hey what’s up!!!!
Okay I just got my guitar!!!
Cool right but you see I need help
I really don’t like my strings!!!!
They'er to light or something I tried to play some metal and it sucked so bad!!!
My friend said to get the medium heavy to heavy strings!!!

I really love the D’Addario strings!!!

So what do you think?!

I strongly disagree. If you play lead and solos you definitely need light gauge for bending the strings. Maybe your strings were old and had long lost their freshness. Maybe you were out of tune. Have some guitar sites for you. Pass them on to fellow guitarists:

Guitars are fun, but did you ever think about playing the Bass Guitar. It's sooo much easier. I taught my daughter to play Bass in 3 weeks. Now we Rock out all the time. Good Luck with whatever you chose!

Go with the light E B and G.........medium on the D......and heavy on the A and Low E.....you'll get a heavy sound......you want a heavier sound tune your low E down to a D and over ride on that.....you got heavy

play what's comfortable for you, but doesn't make you want to quit w/o practicing, ie, TOO heavy. d'addario is quality
