He sometimes questions the Republican position on things.
He is an advocate of many things they stand for, but is not a paid or unpaid 'tool' of the party.

Good call, thats exactly what Limaugh is. Just like O'Riely and Hannity. If you pay attention to whats realy going on you will soon realize that these three stooges lie like the dogs they are on a daily basis. Is he a paid tool? Thats hard to say. The RNC pays troll posters to come to sites like this and post there drivel, so It' s not a reach that Limbaugh is paid as well.

Rush Limbaugh is an actor hired to do a job. He didn't even vote before the age of what, 35-40? Pfff...Rush is a tool alright, the soft kind.

I don't know about any of that. I don't care enough to look into it.
It's pretty clear he's lockstep into whatever the party does, and not the conservative ideology. Anyone who is a party guy is bad news. I don't get why everyone seems to hate Lieberman for running as an Independent after his party abandoned him. Again, judge by philosophy, not political affiliation.
The only problem with that for me is, what the Democrats stand for is so un-American I find myself voting for the Republican in any close race. In other races, I'll vote my conscience.

Rush is just an opportunist, a political media whore who has realized he can make a lot of money riding the so-called conservative (the present Republican party is the most fiscally irresponsible in history and therefore would be more correctly referred to as liberal) movement.

So what ever happened to Air America? They steal all that money from a childrens charity, go bankrupt, no one listens to them... are libs just mad because they hate successful people (is that why they want to tax successful people more?). Rush knows what he is doing. Libs stick to what they know best, name calling, obstructionism, weakening America, and never dealing with the issues at hand with real solutions. and opposing whatever Bush says is not an original solution or viable strategy.

Not sure, but I do believe he and Sean Hannity are also apart of these secret societies our government higher ups are apart of. And, this is why they dismiss these so called conspiracies about 9/11 and wherever else is out there.
So, I guess one could say there are lap dogs for these politician's.

No.
He doesn't need their money.
He doesn't need their friendship either. He's financially independent.
And my liberal friends also use the word "tool", but my conservative friends use terms like "dupe," "operative," and "useful idiot."
(Speaking of which, has Al Franken hit up Soros for enough cash to keep broadcasting? I can't find him on the dial anymore . . . though it might just be the signal strength issue again...)

No I believe that Rush is probably an embarrassment to the Republican party. I believe he is a man who envisioned how to make money by taking off the wall views and extremist views. His obnoxious views and behavior made him popular and he made lots of money. I don't believe anyone could truly be as bigoted as Rush. He was and is a farce but a rich one.
