meaning do you think it is a good idea since the last release was like 10 + years ago

When I first heard about it I thought it was a bad idea. I thought they should leave well enough alone. But I saw the preview for it while I was watching the Contender finale and I actually think it will be a good movie.

He has a better chance of bringing Rambo back then Rocky. At least with Rambo, it is plausible......he can always have mertionaries that he has trained as Rambo to do secret missions. That even as one man, he did more ans outsmarted a whole arsenal of enemies.
With Rocky, what, he is going to train a "Rocky Balboa-like" perp who is on hard times or something? Is son? What, I do not get it. He is taking over the Burgess Meredith role. I mean, really, this is a film that I would wait until it came out on HBO (considering I pay a lot for that damn channel) then go to the movies.
So, I guess you know what the answer is to your question and, for waiting 10+ years ago as opposed to just waiting three years after the fact, is really stupid. What group of people are interested in seeing a Rocky 6? bad enough, they had the Rocky with Hogan and Mr. T.

Same question was asked b4 Rocky 2,3,4,&5 and we continue to watch what Sly will do next...it won't be as good as 1,2or 3 meaning 4&5 were not as good but boxing in general has gone down since Tyson made a snack of that ear...and yes it will be good; not great or excellent but good...
PS...its great to see so many ladies are interested...my daughter has gone to every fight party with me and she knows more than I do now...proud Dad that I am...she started when she was about 16 and now she is 28 and working on her Masters Degree...boxing attracts all kinds...thats why ROCKY VI will be a draw...no, not a draw but a knock-out!!

Nothing and I mean nothing will ever be as good as the original Rocky. That was a masterpiece (for its time)
But, I still will probably watch Rocky 6 too lol

yes i think it will be an excellent film,i have only watched rocky 1,2,3,but i love rocky a lot he is like my best ever,even if they make rocky 30 i will still go watch it,coz he symbolizes the hero spirit,once a gret hero always a great hero.i just love rocky.

Sure, it will be GREAT, once he gets help getting out of his wheelchair.
Excuse me folks. but in Rocky 5 he had brain damage and was basically a village idiot. What makes you think it will be any different? Once you get brain damage from being hit in the head lots of times, it doesn't just go away. It is there for life.

The Only reason there would be another Rocky movie would be because Sylvester Stalone can't get work doing anything else. Why? Because he SUCKS!!!!!

I THINK THAT ANY NEW FILM IN AN OLD SERIES IS EXITING OR ATTRACTIVE SOME KIND IN 1ST BUT AFTER SOMETIME IT BECOME NORMAL AS ANOTHER NEW FILM IN THE SERIES ,,,,BUT IN GENERAL I THINK ROCKY 6 WILL BE A GOOD FILM AFTER LONG WAITING &HOPE THAT THEY COULD PUT A GOOD END FOR IT

my brother and i were just discussing this issue yesterday. I am pumped about the rocky 6 , but also wonering how they will pull it together. if it isn't the same actors, that would really suck! i don't know, i guess we will have to wait and see!
