A gimp can be either a physically handicapped or lame person.
It's usually also an informal, often offensive term referring to
a person who limps as a feeble or contemptible person.
Or also calling a a feeble or contemptible person (who may not limp)
a gimp.
& again perhaps one could simply mean the software version of GIMP which is a photoshopping company/software: GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo
retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many
operating systems, in many languages.

GIMP is a free software you can use for loads of tasks (photo-retouching, image authoring, image compositioning, photo editing.). It's the best free photo editing tool available for free. It's not as powerful as photoshop but can be easily augmented with expensions and plugins if you need professional and advanced features.
