I can close it by holding down the wall switch, If I just click the button, it will not close.
Also have an outside remote that I do not know how to re-set. We recently moved

most likely its the "eyes" have detected something is in the way of the door or the eyes r not in line with each other....they r located on the bottom near the door rails.....

Call the person who built the house or just get a new remote.

try new batteries or try to look up the manufacurer here on the net they may have some codes for ya ta choose from
