received an email that listed senators that did NOT vote for English being the primary language in the US. is this a possibility?

Yes, the senate voted on weather or not English should be our official language. The vote was taken, but not enough "yes" votes were given to pass the motion into law. Almost all the Democratic senators voted against the bill.

Really Now!!! Not only is the (Primary) Language in the United states but it's the, (Primary) Language that is (Except able)as a Language (Universally) Excepted almost World Wide...As far as the (Senate) goes,it does not matter at all who voted for this (Bill)...The (English Language) is & has been, & probably will be the Language that will still be used not only in America but, Universely the most Important Language the World has ever seen... rumeoui !!!

Both house and senate voted unanimously to vote English as the primary language of the USA. And yet, a teen can't get a job in Arizona at a fast food restraunt unless he speaks both English and Spanish. It seems that Americans are being forced to make changes that aren't even law. I am not prejudice but when I go to another country, I am to learn the language or find a translator.

They are probably getting someone to interpret it for them first.
They are senators you know.

if they did it would be the only thing they did...I have never seen such a waste of taxpayer money..except supporting illegal aliens, of course
