A simple sentence is a complete sentence with ONE independent clause. Looks like all but the 2nd one are, as the second one is made up of 2 independent clauses.

Hmm . . .
The first sentence has an introductory phrase.
The second sentence is a compound sentence (2 subjects & 2 predicates).
The third sentence has a compound subject and a prepositional phrase.
My vote is for the 3rd sentence.

none of them are completely simple. a simple sentence would be like this. The dog barked.
