I think he's a great player that may not be cut out for the glare and distraction that comes with being a New York Yankee.

Not gay. Great enough to go to the Hall of Fame (as a Mariner) undeserving of NY fans booing, (he's a born New Yorker), a great deal of pressure in NY. What was he supposed to do, turn down the money? He knew he wasn't as good as 5 years ago. NY always tries to buy the best from evertbody else. He was the best (in Texas), got a great offer and accepted it. Now NY has to accept what they got. How about the rest of the teams play against Detroit. Any standouts? No, yet ARod will get blamed the same as yankee fans booed and blamed one of the best if not THE BEST player in baseball. Mickey Mantle. Let the whining begin.

I think he will come back and put up great numbers, and the Yankees still will not win!

He earns as much in six innings making errors and striking out as I do in a year...Oh...Detroit just beat the Yankees....What do you think.
