Does anyone know how warm it usually is in Athens,Greece in December?
We went in May & it was boiling hot-now going back for Xmas-not sure what clothes to take?

Greece is unpredictable.
I would advise you take light winter clothing but don't forget T-shirts and a heavy coat.
No-one knows if it will make real winter or if it is going to be warm and humid; I remember in 1996 we celebrated Xmas on the beach! Swimming!...
Take a bit of everything; even a bathing suit!....

Winters are cool and humid in Athens. Expect lots of showers and cloudy weather. Temperatures go down to about 12-15 degrees celcius during the day, and evenings are even chillier, so take warm clothing and a thickish coat. There are many sunny spells, whereas lighter winter clothes may be needed.

Winter cloths.. Average temperature 10-16 degrees C maybe lower some times. If you are a woman take your long heels and a nice dress with you . There are many parties around, during Christmas...Enjoy my dear

I live in Athens...I would advise regular winter clothes...sometimes some days might be sunny but it doesnt get hot..its pretty cold, sometimes it even snows...not a NY winter but it definatly gets cold and bring an umbrella!

well its not as hot as may, but its warmer than here at xmas. its around 60 ish, warmer during the day and chilly at nights. depends, everywhere is getting warmer now.

at about 05-15 degrees. it seldom snows. it can be very windy or rainy.. but for sure it will be sunny. cold but sunny..
