For the one who said I'm a fairweather fan i been a Yankee fan for 28 years A NY giants Football fan 25 years & an Islander fan for 21 years. I'm not a phony fan like many are today who switch teams year after year when the team they like don't do well.

Yep, you're right! We are in the 9th inning right now, with 1 out and Matsui at bat. It's over for the Yanks.
Good for you, being a NY fan, to have the strength to congratulate the Detroit fans. Congratulations!

Yankees blew it. they seem to be a much extra valuable team then the way they preformed. Tigers went confusing. domicile plat ump screwed the yankees over in some huge at bats yet nevertheless they are extra valuable then that.

How can anyone dislike the Tigers franchise. They are very respectable and I respect you (and this is hard being a Mets fan) for your maturity.

I'm praying that you will be able to delete this question, but it doesn't look good.

But the Tigers had a great season so I'm with you.

I'm still pissed off as hell though!

I have to admit it. The Tigers played better than us. They had better pitching, and played with heart. Congrats to the Tigers.
