Your body is still getting adjusted to your newfound womanhood! It could take about a year for it to become regular

First off- as long as you have never had a guys private near you- down there- in ANY way- don't worry.
How long have you been having your periods? They are usually very irregular for many months when you first start. Also the diet could be making that more exagratted.
If you have been with a guy AT all- down there- get a test.
Good luck.

Your hormones are still adjusting. For years as a teen my period came every 28 days. Then when I was in my 20s it switched to every 30.
Anything can throw off your period for a day or two. IF you are not sexually active (which you shouldn't be at your age) don't worry about it. It is natural.

When you start your period it is always irregular.

You might get it like clock work for a few months and then all of a sudden you dont get one for the next few months. After that it might start again but be a day or two longer or shorter.

If you haven't had sex then there isnt a need to worry... Its all natural.

It's really normal for periods in your first few years to be kind of sporatic. Some people have irregular periods their whole life. As long as you are not in pain and you are not hemorraging (bleeding for too long) you are fine. Don't stress about it.
By the way--a diet and working out shouldn't effect it at all (unless you are anorexic)

If you are loosing weight and exercising that can be the cause of the late period. If you keep with this your period will come back. The reason in that your body is changing and your period is how your body regulates itself.

don't worry sweetie i started my period 2 years ago also (aka when i was 11 and i am know 13) and i thought my period had regulated out but it was a day late and should have started yesterday(october 6th) and it started today so i am asssuming your body must still be adjusting like mine is.

These things happen sometimes, your body is still adjusting. You should be tracking your periods. Keep an eye on them and if they seem to get too erratic you might want to see a doctor, but it's probably normal body adjustment.

You're 13, your periods may not yet be regular; 1 day late, if you haven't had sexual intercourse you will be okay, talk with your mom or some female that you trust with your personals.....

It is probably late because of a decrease in your body fat. So if you are in some kind of a crash diet or are doing a lot of excercises, cut it down a bit and you should be ok.
