i was told gild wars game was free to play online but i opened the game and it says something about a 14 day trai after that do i have to pay or what?

Guild Wars is free online after you buy it. I bought Factions and it came with a slip with 14 day trials for like city of heros and stuff...thats all... so yeah its free after u buy it

You get what you pay for. Guild Wars is more tactical/skill based. Cap is lvl 20. Not a bad game AT ALL for being free. But if you want to spend that extra 12 bucks a month, get WoW. Cap lvl 70 (lvl 80 with the new expansion) and it can be very skill based, but it doesn't strictly rely on the skill based system like Guild Wars does. But i recommend WoW.

It's like you buy the game at the store, but there is no subscription fee.
