I cant help laughing (hard) sometimes at sudden silences at works dinners etc anyone else have that problem?

Yes I often find myself in the situation you describe , especially when something is "Dolefull" and Miserable , when someone is making a speech and grinding on and on , and talking a Load of Bollocks I think It,s a kind of "Relief Valve" , Hope you are happy that you are not Alone in your thinking ? ? ?

yes im 23 and i still get it, a nice looking girl was looking at me in the lift the other day and it went quiet and i laughed.....at work i was in the canteen, it was so quiet i could here myself eating my banana, so i laughed? ......i was asked a question in my italian class, not a funny one, and i laughed!!!!
I just dont take things serious, quite funny when you think abput it.....just a good job we didnt work together or we'd be sacked by now lol!
Youve got me thinking of that banana and i cant stop laughing!!!

Maybe that's a nervous laugh, it's when you don't know how to react to a situation. I use to do this. I was not being rude I just felt shy and very nervous.

I have that EXACT problem!
Say... We were told to Start a test, I would burst out into hysterics, and I really Cant help it! No idea what Causes it Either :S

I have the same problem and its got me into trouble a few times. Its purely a nervous reaction I think.

i have this problem, except with me, its like when ppl are in pain or have bad accidents, but with me, its a sadistic tendencie, so i think with you, it might be that you just take pleasure from others misfortunes.
i don't want to harm anyone, i just sometimes find it funny, it could be a nervous reaction too.

i always seem to laugh at the wrong time. im always the one laughing when others are not! i dont know why. i go into a fit of the giggles!

I think it's more of a nervous laugh!
My sister used to do it when she was told off and that just got her in more trouble!!
