Well theres a weigh scale called B.M.I or Body Mass Index. For every 5 feet its 100 pounds then 5 pounds for every inch. So you're 5"3 so.... 115.

No. Im 13 too. im 5' and way 83 pounds. A ton of my friends weigh a whole lot more than you. You're probably skinny for your height so there is nothing to worry about hon.

Girl- u need some meat on your bones. you are completely not over wieght. infact, you need to gain at least 10 pounds becuase a normal 13 year old who is 5"3 should be about 110-115 pounds

rule of thumb for teens - 100 pounds for the first 5 feet and 5 pounds more for each inch over that.

you should weight 115 according to that rule

HOWEVER; this isn't a strict rule and can vary with many things such as; bone structure, muscle tone.

Don't worry about "normal". Do you look good, do you feel good? Don't get too into weight numbers, it's a bad habit to get caught up in. You're at a low weight for someone of your height. Just love yourself and take care of yourself. Health is way more important in determining how you look and feel than some number.

Everyone has a different body type, so you may be underweight or not. Go see either you Dr., or a nutritionist. They determine what weight you should be, plus they can calculate your muscle to fat ratio. Muscle weighs more than fat, so that can make a difference on how many pounds you should actually weigh.

You're actually on the thin side. Try not to worry so much about your weight or you risk becoming obsessed about it. You really sound like you are fine for your age and height.

Enter your info. under the child/teen BMI calculator. I'm pretty sure it will tell you that you are okay. And it actually wouldn't hurt if you tried to get your weight over 100.

Shee-yoot no, you aren't overweight! I'm 4'8", and I'm only supposed to weight that myself. You could shrink about six inches and still be skinny. DARN YOU! -shakes fist- I'm okay.

I CERTAINLY don't weigh 97 lbs... more like 140. ^^;;
