ok so i went shopping today at khols and when i got home these jeans that i bought still had that annoying little plastic magnetic clip thing on it and i really need to get it off because i cant drive all the way down to khols to get it removed because then theyll think i stole it or something but yea... any ideas?

Sorry but theres really no good way to get them off without the risk of tearing a hole in your brand new jeans. This has happened to me before and I just took the item with the receipt & the tags on back to the store to get them to remove it. They didnt think i stole it at all they just apologized and removed it for me. Sometimes the alarms just dont go off right.

Don't try and remove it yourself. Those tags are filled with ink and it will leak out all over your jeans. Take them back to Kohl's along with your receipt and they will not question it. I had the same thing happen to me a couple months ago and had to take a pair of jeans back to have the tag removed at a store in the mall. They were very apologetic that I had to make an extra trip, but mistakes happen!

Could it be one of the ones that releases a dye if you try to force it off? Even if not, if you try to force it off with pliers or somesuch you might risk ripping the fabric. Presumably you have the receipt? I'd advise you to take them back and get the tag removed properly.

Well, you should have the receipt still since it was recent. You could call them and ask them if there's another way to get it of, but usually you have to go back so they can do it because if you do it yourself your jeans will most likely get damaged.

Yes, you need to bring it back. You have the receipt since you bought it, so bring that with you and tell them that the forgot to take the tag off and they will take it off for you. Easy girl! Good luck!

hey! Ive been told that u can get the metal clip off by using a lighter and melt it off. Just be careful and dont let the melted stuff drip on your pants. that would be a really bad mess to try to get off. Good Luck

if u have the reciet then u obisily didnt steal it so take them back. its way better than getting a hole in the jeans, but if they have holes already then i guess you could try cutting or ripping it out. i wouldnt try mealting it off or thing like that that sounds really stupid, messay, and dangerous.

Take them back with your receipt preferably, otherwise phone them first and explain. They should be able to check stock etc and therefore realise that they made an error.

you should go back to the store and tell them that you bought them there and they left them on. and it might help to bring the recete in case they think u stole them.
