Yes there are such clubs and competitions. They are called "Golden Oldies". Here are a few I found from the rfu site

Many rugby clubs have a team for the more mature players, but most are for the over 40s. I can't say that I've heard of one specifically for over 50s.

Suggest you try EGOR (Ever Greens Of Rugby).

However, quite a number of clubs in NW England have or have recently had players over 50 - Lostock, Bolton RUFC, North Manchester, etc, etc, etc

yes our club have a team for players aged 30 and over some are over fifty its kind of mixed

I think if you know how to play the game you could get into any clubs around the area i live anyway my dad mates are all over 50 and they play
