Depending an when you completed your sentence, you may not need a pardon to visit Canada. Contact the Canadian Embassy to see if the following applies to you.

Deemed Rehabilitation

You may be deemed rehabilitated if you meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Depending on the nature of your offence, at least five years and as many as 10 years must have passed since you completed the sentence imposed for your crime. Deemed rehabilitation also depends on whether you have committed one or more offences. In all cases, you may only be deemed rehabilitated if the offence committed would be punishable in Canada by a maximum term of imprisonment of less than 10 years.

You are not required to submit an application to be deemed rehabilitated. However, before arriving at a port of entry, we strongly advise you to contact a Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate outside Canada to see if you qualify.

confident, buddy, all of us ought to stay with our possibilities. Your determination to attack an officer of the regulation shows the two violent propensities and a entire disrespect for the rule of regulation. this is between the worst and stupidest crimes i can think of of, and confident, it says lots approximately you as a individual. And your suggestion which you purely pleaded responsible to get leniency is ridiculous. in case you probably did not do it and you pleaded responsible besides, then you lied under oath once you took your plea. Do you think of that makes human beings prefer to experience extra valuable approximately you, or worse? have been you mendacity then, or are you mendacity now? And do you particularly think of that your protestation which you probably did not harm him all that undesirable is helpful? God, you're making me prefer to puke. perhaps human beings will start to think of in a diverse way in case you ever settle directly to take some own accountability. till then, i does not hire you the two. playstation --thank you for emailing me to substantiate which you're nevertheless a scofflaw and a threat to society. once you're a individual, why do you act like an ape? human beings, this guy does not deserve your sympathy.

Do you have a passport? Felons can get passports and so far as I know, Canada will let you in. Only a Governor can pardon you and it's a rare thing to happen.
