I'm from Bogotá, Colombia and I see in Yahoo! Answers in spanish that the majority of mexicans and venezuelans hate the Americans. ¿Why? ¡Luck from Colombia!

The CIA has been responsible for some very bad things in Latin America. One such thing is supporting General Pinochet in Chile. I think many Latin American feel that the US has interfered in the internal affairs of their countries.

The ones on Yahoo answers are probably the ones that got caught coming across the border and were deported, or they here we do not want anymore Mexicans in our country unless they come legally, we are tired of illegal immigrants. because the criminals are coming with them, and we have enough of our own, we have 240 thousand Mexican Child molesters in this country and we want them gone, as I said we have enough of our own. And when a government as ours doesn't do anything about immigration for twenty years and you have millions of illegal immigrants in your country that start demanding rights, and to be made citizens without going through the process of becoming a citizen, like the legal ones do. The citizens of that country get a little pissed, as the American people are. Now the Mexican government wants us to leave our borders open so more can come, they don't want to help their own poor people they want them here so they can send home money to their families, and that helps the Mexican government, that's why they want open borders, they get the money and the U.S. gets the shaft. And if they hate us so much why the hell do they keep coming. They should try to change their own government instead of coming here and trying to change ours. The Mexican press reports on it all the time and they no we don't want them here, so they are pissed at America. So be it, we have a right to protect our country from outsiders and from being over ran with Mexico's poor, that is the quickest way to bring down a country, that is why countries have immigration laws. Even Mexico deports poor people that come to their country. We don't mind people coming we just want them to come legally.

i do no longer hate Latin individuals. as long as they are residing here legally and talk English, because it is the community language, I have not any concern. while you're a tourist, a minimum of hire a translator/handbook.

Because of American interference in Latin American countries, especially where there are or have been large business concerns belonging to Americans. Check every major revolution in Latin America and you'll see the U.S. had something to do with it.
Additionally, Americans treat Latins with disrespect and arrogance. (I am an American)

Im from Costa Rica and we don't i i've heard that from Mexicans i guess cuz they have so many problems at the border and stuff...

Because we have always treated them as if they are less than human. It is the same reason most people hate America.
