OK so I have this Conroe Duo Core E6700, any suggestions which motherboard and other stuff to put with it?

Just to correct what the previous guy said, you only need DDR2 533Mhz to run with a Conroe's higher FSB, so that is not a big deal. Now as for suggestions I have no idea what your budget is, but if you email that to me then I suppose I could give you some ideas.

I am a gamer with an e6400 and I overclock for fun
As far as motherboards, The gigabyte ds3 is a very good overclocker and performer. It is the cheapest solution that I would recommend. If you have the money though, get the asus ASUS P5W DH DELUXE. Cheap/moderate video card - 7600gt or 7900gt for gaming high end - 7900gtx or 7900gx 2. For these cpu's you will need high end ram, look at patriot ddr2 800 or ocz platinum ddr2 800 - 2gb kits. Conroes are very costly for the memory and motherboard vs older systems because of the higher fsb :/
