So many people don't really understand what feminism is supposed to be about, so they say things like this. Feminism to me (and many!) is a belief in social equality, between all people, regardless of race, class, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic. So no...it's no an excuse for anything, it's a belief in justice and a better society.

Socrates, great thinker or uptight homosexual? well you still have a lot to learn on how you base questions, I think women have to step up and had to just to get that dam respect we deserve, of course some take it too far, just like some men take things too far, like molestation, and rape! So until we can get the lead out and educate better, then diversity will still suffer. Lift up your head every now and then and see the bigger picture its not about sexes its about power! Give some love and hugs as much as you can, big hugs to you!!

No, lesbians like to have sex with other women.
I consider myself a feminist and I do not want to have sex with other women.
I just want to have equal rights and I want to make the same amount of money that men do.
We still have a long way to go.
The majority of women work outside the home these days and yet they still do most of the housework, laundry and cooking.

- basically about equality between men and women
Lesbian
A woman whose sexual orientation is to women
to put it another way, you might have a chance with a feminist, but not with a comment like that

it'd be terrible if men ever viewed women as their equals, so so terrible if they ever treated them as their equal, so terrible if you were a man, why look what it would do to your egos.
just because a woman believes in feminism doesn't make her a lesbian but does your question mark you as a chauvinist pig?
