Oh dear takes me back to my younger days!!,i remember this coming out on 'Top of the Pops'. The Vietnam war had finnished ,this came out in the eightie's,but America was getting drawn into coflicts in Granada,drug wars in south America and ther was a fear of another Vietnam.
Afghanistan,and Iraq hadn't even been thought of then.

I myself think it still has a message to one and all don't start something you can't finnish,and think about the youth that are thrown in to a conflict with total disregard for their lifes and wasted at the expense of idiotic politicians!!.

I knew some American service men who were there, they will tell you it was the worst experience they have ever had, my dad who was in at the end of war war 11 will tell you the same, i think it is an experience we never learn from ever.. war for 19 yr old and even those who still remember at 90 is awful..

Why are you still hung up on Viet Nam? The average age of a soldier in Iraq is only 19.
