People stare because they are ignorant to other peoples feelings. Have you also noticed that if some people do talk to you if youre in a wheelchair they talk to you like you are a child - weird.

This is a really good question. I am in a wheelchair myself and I still get the looks as if people think I am going to give them some kind of disease. These looks even come from my church family too. I really don't know what their problems are but I always tell them to take a picture and it will last longer and when I do that then they really take off. I really can't understand why people are like this because we are all human beings and we was all created equally. I guess some people have just been raised up to not like a certain person if they can't walk on their own like the other person can.

I find that amazing, even after all these years of people been in wheelchairs that some people have to stare at them like its a new fangled item, I don't know if there wondering why that person ended up in a wheelchair or its just sheer ignorance and rudeness, it wouldn't be so bad if they actually looked people in wheelchairs in the eyes when they spoke to them, that really annoys me so much, I have often told people to look at the eyes and not at the chair, not to talk down to to that person but to go to their level, wish they would see the person and not the chair.

He might be more self-aware because hes in a wheelchair. There is a difference between making fun of someone which is totally wrong and being aware of whos around you observation isnt rudeness.

All yet Eastenders. Eastenders can not in any respect carry a narrative through. in the journey that that they had someone paralysed like Jackson in Emmerdale they could have written him out through now. Jack recovered instantly adequate and develop into ssoon out of his wheelchair. the different female in Hollyoaks develop into said as hayley and he or she develop right into a wheelchair person in genuine existence, clone of Izzy in Corrie.

Don't pretend not to see them either. Just act like they are anyone else or make a point to talk to them. Sometimes they feel isolated from society.

It's not something you see every day. To simply notice is one thing, but if they stare, then they're just assholes.
