A. France. The Lousiana purchas was from the French. Mexico and Spain held the west, and England the East.

Spain--all land west of the Mississippi River and the Gulf coast lands[Florida through Arizona to California.
[Napeolon did not get control of the Spanish lands until the very late 1790"s when he succedded in controlling the King of Spain]
