oh, i forgot to add racist ideals too. So, what other factors (besides religious affiliation and racist ideals) can add more wood to a hate group's fire?

My great Aunt Mary used to say: "Never talk about politics, religon, or races with anyone." If they start to voice there opinion say who I vote for is a secret. Even wisper it in their ear for more points. " I don't discuss politics." Then religion comes up say if you have to. I go to a non demonational church. Unless, they know other wise. Say something along the lines of the bible says be kind to aliens and strangers. I like variety and the different races add variety. Then leave it at that. If they say what about jobs? Say, I like a man that is willing to work.
But certain things we should keep to ourselves.
Because you won't change them and they aren't going to change you so what is going to happen? Hurt feelings.

About anything. Religion and race are only the scapegoat of a basically social and political hate, originated in the explotation of the poor by the wealthy. In other words, people are in need and they're angry about that. And they use any excuse to vent that rage. Here, in Argentina, a very common scapegoat is football (soccer). Every now and then, people express their fury in the field, either by insulting the opposite team, or by more serious incidents, that may come to physical attacks. But it's naive to think that football, religion or race is the real source of this violence.

Political reasons and unfairness to a certain group. I think media also add fire. The media should be held by all different groups. Whoever owns the media, they press their agenda. There should be more publicly sponsored channels.

Some people can't accept anything that's different. Different political stance, different religious stance, different view on anything.
They are biased at best, simply close minded, or at worst prejudiced.

Being from another country, or even from the mountains and they are from the flat lands. Hate needs nothing to fuel it.
