She gave me her number, without me asking and actually meet me after work 1 night in order too help me out.
I like this women for years before acutally hinting or doing anything about it.
Then a few month ago's (feb time) I got her roses and a teddy bear and wrote poems just before Val day.

Since then we had a couple of weeks without talking , to let thing settle down a little, then she said nothing could happen, but don't feel like i could not still talk to her.

A couple of weeks passed without too much interaction, then she made a offical harassment claim at work to the company owner.
Since then (nothing happened) I have not spoken to her, although still have feelings, but cant risk getting the sack.

Do I move companies or carry on avoiding contact at all cost.
Other then that I have a secure Job and am thought very highly of. Although i did find out they are advertising role at the company with much highier salary.

What would you do????

sounds like a proper *****. Was she boinking somebody else in the office that views you as a competitor for a promotion,or her job. Avoid the old skank. She set you up. A woman in her 40's is quite able to turn down propositions, and waiting to file a complaint says planning. You were a total fool to send flowers and even worse to write poems or send other love notes that can be used as evidence. Never send on paper or electronically what should be said in person. I hope you got a bit more out of this than a peck on the cheek. I am sorry that you got a good screwing without sex even. You now have a charge on your record and she has no fear of loosing a promotion to the young upstart in her office. You got owned, Bozo. I hope this does not follow you to any new jobs you might apply for. How confidential are the records of the personel dept. H.R. people often vet prospects for each other. Good luck in your new career.

THis sounds like she was just seeing if she still "had it" and it back fired because you took to it. Let it all drop mate or it could land in your face big time. Find a chick your age group and just dream of what could have been. We all do.

if you've given us the full and honest info, then i'd be getting out to that higher paid job and leaving this psycho b***h behind.

there's nothing worse than having to cover your back because of some idiot who just wants to play some stupid game. it'll just get worse and you'll end up looking bad. better to save your rep, get into a better environment and enjoy going to work than having to deal with this rubbish.

i wish you all the best in this mate.

This may be an infatuation. It will pass. On the other hand it is in the best interest for both, you move office.

I can't believe she did that, that is not harrassment. Look for new jobs at the same time you are keeping this one just in case, you don't want that following you around. People these days.

This sounds like it has moved from interest through infatuation to obsession. You can change jobs, but realistically, you need professional help. This can help you recognize the signs she gave you as red lights.

I think you'd best try to forget about a relationship with her
also I expect she may be embarrassed about the age difference

leave that roadkill alone! why d'you want 2halt your life 4sumthin' like that? gravedigging can sometimes leave u buried under serious issues you don't want or can't deal wit, i would ignore her @ss like she was furniture & traipse my success (after getting the job, not b4) & see if she does anything whereupon if she does, i'd reject her profusely in a very public place...
