I don't agree with anyone of you. Beckham is a very sportive player because even when he was dropped, he didn't come up and slam the manager. He agreed with Mclaren's decision and said that he would be ready to play for England whenever he was called up for.
Well, I totally disagree with you people that Beckham is over-rated.All of you say that Lennon is better than Beckham. This is absolutely rubbish. Has Lennon played 94 caps for England like Beckham. NO.So how can you judge a player from his performance in 1 or 2 caps for his nation.
Last night against Macedonia , England absolutely struggled to
keep possesssion of the ball. They missed the quality of David Beckham.
Many people say that Lampard is a better player than Beckham. Lampard didn't even score a goal whereas Beckham scored one and setup a couple of goals in the world cup . I think Mclaren's selection is very wrong.

Steve mcclaren prefers a team with wingers who have pace and can take a man on. Beckham has none of these attributes anymore. He is also a poor captain who doesnt shout or instill confidence to the players around him. Unlike J terry who is an excellent captain and proved it at chelsea.Beckham was also Svens lap dog and like all dogs your day will come.

Beckham can be over-rated, but the politics are interfering with who gets chosen for England's team. Perhaps Chris Evans should buy that team out, get influenced by blokes for Beckham, and then place his money on putting Beckham where those people (i.e. you) want him to be.

He is good enough !!! That coach wants other players for his own interest to suit his own reasons. Beckham can bend the ball and kick at long range with accuracy - he is an asset.

little or no. What difference does it make? The capitency is rather no extra beneficial than an empty, insignificant ornament. Does it substitute the gamers on the sphere? the technique? the interest plan? infrequently. i understand the English won't get the factor I make, besides the undeniable fact that it rather, rather does not recommend squat, admit it or no longer.

beckham is over rated.yes he has a great right foot but lennon is a more complete player and can dribble past players which beckham cannot do.

because (I think) he'll be 33 when Euro 2008 arrives. & he played **** in the world cup, lennon was better, ever ringo would outdo beckham.
