Pshhh eff that
I still support them even if they lost. They just need more confidence in themselves. They don't play at the best of their abilities and they dissapoint fans b/c of that....we all know Spain's capabilities and yet they don't live up to expectations.

anyways WHO CARES really,
viva espana!!

Well, personally, I think that if assessed individually the players in spain's national squad are the best in the world--right up there with Argentina. However, they seem to lack luck; that and there appears to be a great deal of infighting. Raul has been dragging them down for the longest time and his teammates suffer for it. He should have been dropped a long time ago. Now that he has been dropped it has been a decision of great controversy.

Joaquin--winger--is upset. He decided not to participate then was peeved that the media focussed on Raul's being dropped than on him. That's jealousy if I ever saw it.

So that's pretty much what the team is like. Anyway, Sweden isn't really lousy, they just flopped for the duration of the World Cup.

SPAIN's probably missing their main striker, Raul Gonzalez Blanco. Luis Aragones has made a big mistake by dropping him from the line-up. without Raul, SPAIN is totally ineffective.

I've been saying this since the beginning of time, Spain is very overrated. They basically suck as a team, but they get this great reputation because of players like Raul and Puyol. "Oooh, they have Raul, they're great" or "Oooh Puyol's the best defender ever, he plays for Barcelona, Spain rocks."

Bullshit.
