Well, if someone could distinguish themself from their own sterotype then everything would be fine. They don't though blacks in miami raise the bar on their own stereotype and don't improve themselves.
As for you friend, that's straight up racism unless he was trying to rob the gas station, otherwise that was wrong of the gas attendant.

There is absolutely no excuse for discrimination. Not for any reason. Maybe they couldn't understand what your friend was saying at the gas station. Could that be possible? I hope they weren't discriminating. If they were, he could report them to the gasoline co. that provides them with gas. They could lose their stateion.

No, it's not right. Sadly, racism and bigotry is still everywhere. I like to think there are more NON-racist people than racists though.
Tell your friend not to worry about it. Most of us don't care WHERE he's from, so long as he's not a terrorist! Same goes for anyone!

Unfortunately there are always racists out there. I have hopes they will one day become less ignorant. If we are lucky they will all get smarter one day. They might even evolve into a plant if their IQ was up another notch!

dumb *** gas workers. just think, who's pumping who's gas? you friend is obviously the superior one
Don't let it bother you, ignorance is all over. to them, who have all kinds of their own problems going on, it's easy for them to blame their misfortunes on people who are different. remember the qoute "ignorance is bliss"
