Imagine they try to swallow each other starting with the tails, like a circle made up of two snakes.

how about if both snakes were exactly the same length and neither one is stronger?

eventually the longer snake will begin to eat itself but once it relies it is eating itself, it will shed its outer skin so the rest of him can slide out, and then it is full

or the poisonous one will win

or if one snake jerks its head, it will cause the other one's head to pop of the jerker's tail, and thus the one who jerks becomes victorious.

or a predator comes along and gets a buy one get one free lunch

it's obvious that the longer one wins (as Chrystal I said) , but if they have the same lenght, and assuming (since they eat each other) that they are enemies, than they will manage to annul one another. Good that they found each other and don't have to bother us!
