Yea, singing through your nose makes you sound stuffed up. It will make your sound nasally and you will have to take lots of breaths. Your supposed to sing from your diaphragm. It keeps your voice steady and if you learn to do it correctly than you will be able to hold enough air to sing for 20 seconds. Also, if you sing through your nose or from your voice box you could permanently damage your vocal chord and then you won't be able to sing at all, so best tip. Get a voice trainer they can help you if you think you can't learn to sing from the right place. By the way, your diaphragm is below your ribs. To find where that is breathe in for 8 seconds and then make a sort of hissing sound through your teeth for as long as you can without lowering you chest since you'll be so full of air your chest should rise. So, when you are "hissing" through you teeth you should feel a knot in your stomach, that's your diaphragm. Hope this helps!

Singing through your nose is definently bad... that is if you're trying to sound good. Of course some people who are good, like Bob Dylan, sing through their nose. So you decide what sounds right.

Singing through your nose? Is that possible? I can hum through my nose, like most people do. (check it out, not many people hum with their mouths open) but singing? If you can at all, I would think it would sound at least a little "Nasal" lol

you are suppose to sing from your diaframe. only from there can you get good notes. never through your throat or nose. you can loose your voice that way.

singing through your nose isn't really bad, it just makes your voice sound really odd.
Best not do it.
