Yup... I agree. Just think about it.. the way everything went down in 2004. Red Sox came back from 3-0, all the games went after midnight.. then the eclipse! There was definitely something "extra" working for us - and yes it reversed the curse!! Yanks have been sucking for quite a while - and they are not going to get any better - why? because their owner is a greedy mofo!!!

Arod hasn't been there that long - to be the "curse of AROD" I actually feel bad for Arod.... he is a good player but just went into a team that already had a "star" shortstop - what did he expect?!

I kind of have to agree with you about this one. I don't know WHAT'S going on w/the yanks . . . I'm a Chicago Cubs fan (live in the city right by the hated Sox) and totally feel for you guys right now. The Cubs suck, but the Yanks rock and I love seeing them win . . . I do hope we're both wrong about the curse!

If the curse did jump like that, is there anyone out here who can make it jump from Wrigley Field to, say, St. Louis or somethin'?

No hitter just got broken up in the 6th.

But anyway for your question I think the Yankees are suffering from the Curse of A-Rod. (Sort of like the Curse of the Bambino).
Since his arrival, the Yankees have failed to reach the World Series!

I just think that Yankees management is too narrow-minded, they think getting an allstar type team will solve the problem. It almost never works, just look at what the marlins have done in the past few years. They are always a .500 team and won a few championships with a payroll salary WAAAAAY below other teams and with a bunch of young talent.

no, the yankees have been cursed since they lost to the diamondbacks in 2001. they build up monster fantasy rosters with little chemistry and then wonder why they can't win the big games and series. another little problem: their starting pitchers have been really bad the past few years. if they didn't have that murderers' row they would never even make the playoffs. pitching is #1.

i will say it loud: I CRIED, i'm from Dom Rep, and function been i think of the main important crimson Sox u . s . a . fan from this territories, and you does not understand the emotion we here felt as quickly as we won, specifically for seeing great Papi (David Ortiz), Manny Ramírez and Pedro Martínez to regulate and carry the team of their shoulders, of direction with the great artwork additionally of: Jason Varitek, Curt Schilling, Trot Nixon, etc. as quickly as we first have been dropping by using the Yankees interior the ALCS, i did not loose wish (this is the final element you loose as an previous state says), yet as quickly as we began prevailing, and with the snatch hitting of Ortiz and Jhonny Damon's HR, it became frightening, thw actual international series became that ALCS, maybe the superb series ever performed interior the background of baseball. I appreciate lots the Yankees company, as a count of actuality the superb team ever in any self-discipline. yet I wager all of us, that any fan from any team of any interest has never enjoyed lots as we crimson sox followers did it that 2004.

Since 2001, MLB has been about one-hit wonders. Arizona, Anaheim, Florida, Boston, Chicago White Sox & who ever wins this year. None of these teams have been a threat any other year. These are all flukes.

There was no curse. They took on another Demon (named Johnny) to roam the outfield. They are EVIL. Leave it at that.
