fyi bears can run up hill, down hill and as fast as a horse so running aint an option. playing dead is the best option. but in my case i would prolly be dead of heart failier anyway. Then again if i was living somewhere that bears are thick i would be carrying my rifle ,so his head would have a huge hole in it

scream then run. I know that's a stupid thing to do but I would. But one of my friends told me that bear's cant run down hill. Something about their bones. Don't know if it's true or not. But If I was in that position I would probebly try.

It all depends on what type of bear it is. Grizzly or Polar bear..there's not much you can do. If you're unarmed and they're hungry...good luck. Where I live there's only black bears and if you scream and yell at them, they will go away.(I've done it before).
