why are smart people losers at school even though there pretty and funny just like everyone else?

what i'm asking is there are people at my school that are just mean and stupid and then just because i'm in the honers core people treat me like i am a loser. i dont understand! arent the tree top qualities in girls being *smart* funny and pretty?

Most of the time there too caught up in there work to socialize. So we call them GEEKS
