It is the fist time i have tried. The clip is 251,937 kb (is that about 251Mb)?
Trouble is clips can only be 100Mb
I do not want to shorten the length of the clip.
Would putting it into a compressed folder work? The file is AVI but is called a video clip file and I also read that a MPEG3 file works best

I think the restrictions that YouTube has are awful and should be changed. I don't think you can do anything about it unless your willing to break the file into chunks and then upload it. You might want to try to get an exception by mailing them and asking them.
