Is this what your teacher says? I guess she's right if you're referring to bringing treats. You can't just single out your friends because the rest of the class will feel left out. Put yourself in the same position. What if one of your classmates brought only enough for a few of his or her favorites. Wouldn't you be just a little ticked off?

It's not my birthday.
