Most people when drunk lose there inhibitions. There underlying characteristics come out. Some people can become extremely nice, truly scared or scary. Its a good way of finding out the underlying nature of a person. If he's that bad when drunk than my advice would be to find someone else.

I'm with Aerroc on this. Most men only love when they are drunk, and are indifferent when sober. There's something wrong here.
