I mean real answers and not smart a$$ answers please. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and he doesn't say I love you regularly, he is not really affectionate, and because of my weight, I am afraid that has become an issue in the marital bed. I am doing something about it, but I am wondering if he really still loves me? Thanks

Yes. If he hasn't left you or cheat on you.

Where does he spend all of his spare time? Is it with you or is it at work?
Does he come home late from work every day?
Can you account for the bulk of his time away?
Does he take care of all the expenses?
Does he provide well for you?
Does he allow you space to pursue personal interests?
Try taking the initiative with love making. If he doesn't respond then it can open the door for discussion for you to get the answers from the only one that can truly tell you.
Good Luck!

So what are you going to do about it? If he's been with you for 10 years isn't that a hint that he loves you? What? Gotta be told "I love you" three or four times a day? How about "Goodbye, going to work..love you"? How about "Goodnight hun..love you"? Maybe....have to hang up...see you tonight..love you"?

I find it hard to believe that any one of these phrases don't enter into daily conversation.

If you think it's because of the weight...and clearly you do...then drop the pounds pronto. If it doesn't change, you've improved your health at least.

some people don't think it is necessary to say i love you after a period of time gone by. they may show you they love you by the things they do. if i was you sweetie i would sit him down and have a heart to heart talk with him about your feelings. get him involved in your weight loss. also on the flip side of this question do you say i love you to him and do you show him that you love him. this is a two way street sweetie. good luck
