If you're talking about foundation, always make sure that it blends well into your neck. You might want to walk into a dept. store and have one of the girls help you out. Doesn't mean you have to buy the expensive stuff. They will give you a general idea and you can take that info. wherever you like. :)

Check out Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals. You might use the Tan shade, but if you're near either a Bare Escentuals boutique or Sephora store they'll be able to find a shade to match your skin tone.
It doesn't clog your pores, has a natural SPF 15 and you control the coverage. A little goes a long way.
Both Bare Escentuals and Sephora carry a starter kit which runs $60-$75. It has 2 foundation shades, warmth, mineral veil, 3 brushes and an instructional DVD. If this is something your interested in I would suggest getting it. If you don't like it you can return it and you won't be out anything.
As far as eye and cheek colors, for eyes I would suggest plums, gold or bronze, greens, for cheeks a golden rose shade.
Good luck!!

try a smokey purple..you can wear it during the day but use a light lip gloss no a dramatic color... cause its also usable for night time...just put on a darker shade of gloss to make it look dramatic...try a white shimmer too[with the purple] the white really makes the purple POP!!
good luck and have fun! even just fooling around with colors is good...find what u like...maybe get like cheap make-up at like discount make-up store

I have the same skin color and you should probably use bronze and brown metallic colors...they make ur skin look more radiant...also soft colors like pinks, light purple, and light green work. dont go for dark colors because it will make ur skin look extremely dark and unclean or dirtyish...Hope I helped! Good luck!

Try light purple, it'll make your eyes the center of attention on your tan skin. Also, your "less than flawless" skin will be less noticeable.

Go to the Prescriptives counter at a dept. store. They can match any skin shade there is. It is not cheap make-up, but a bottle lasts a long time and is worth it.

You'd be best to go to the store and compare the makeup to youre skin. Sometimes you won't know until you try it. But you definatly want youre concealment to match your skin.

If you go to the mall they usually have samples you can try to find your match, they would be in the section of a store with all the smelly stuff in places like boscovs or khols.

good luck!
